Glenn Abel – Owner

Glenn has more than 25 years of construction inspection experience, starting in 1984 as a construction manager for a major telecommunications firm. After leaving the telecommunication industry in 2005, he worked for a small construction firm in downtown Austin while taking the required course work to obtain the TREC Professional Inspectors license through KaplanUniversity. Abel Property Inspections was established in June 2006.

David joined Abel Property Inspections in 2009 as a certified Energy Efficiency Auditor. He assesses how much energy a house consumes, determines the efficiency of the home's heating and cooling systems, pinpoints where the home may be losing energy, and evaluates which measures can be taken to make the home more energy efficient. David earned his Building Performance Analyst certification through BPI.
